What can I buy on SwagDeel?

SwagDeel is a student-driven marketplace where you can buy and sell new or gently used items.
From clothing and electronics to furniture and home essentials, we’ve got everything students need—all in one place.

It’s the perfect way to save on top brands and earn cash from stuff you no longer use.
When you make a purchase, you’re buying directly from another student seller, who will either ship your item or meet you in person—usually within 2 business days of your order.

Product Q&A Section

Have a question about an item?

Buyers can ask directly on the product listing by clicking the ‘Q & A’ tab.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Post your question on the item’s page.

  2. SwagDeel reviews the question to make sure it follows our guidelines.

  3. The question is then sent to the seller.

  4. Once the seller responds, the answer will be published under the ‘Q & A’ tab.

  5. You’ll also get an email notification when the seller replies.

Note: Sellers aren’t required to respond, but SwagDeel encourages it to help buyers make informed decisions. Replies are completely up to the seller’s discretion.

SwagDeel offers secure payment options for both buyers and sellers. You can check out using:

Safe and Easy Payments:
SwagDeel offers secure payment options for both buyers and sellers. You can pay with a credit/debit card, PayPal, Venmo, & Stripe.

Payment Release:
SwagDeel will release the seller’s payment 2 days after both the buyer and seller have confirmed that the item was received and there are no discrepancies with the listing.

Return Requests:
If the item does not match the listing description, the buyer has 2 days to open a return request.

Shipping & Delivery:
If the item has not shipped or the seller has failed to arrange a meeting within 7 business days, contact SwagDeel customer service at support@swagdeel.com for a full refund of your original purchase.

Buyer Responsibilities:

  • Shipping fees and sales tax are the buyer’s responsibility.

  • Sales tax is determined by the delivery address provided at the time of purchase.

  • Both shipping fees and sales tax are clearly displayed in the cost breakdown before you confirm your purchase.

How does shipping work?

Seller Expectations on SwagDeel

🕒 Timely Delivery

Sellers must ship sold items or arrange a meetup with the buyer within 2 business days of the sale.
If the item is being shipped, the shipping cost should be included in the listing price.

 

🚚 Shipping Process

  • Once the item is sold, sellers can download a prepaid shipping label from their account.

  • A tracking number will be sent to the buyer via email so they can follow the delivery.

  • Sellers are asked to ship the item within 2 business days of the sale.

Shipping Delays

If a seller hasn’t shipped the item or set up a meeting within 7 business days, buyers should contact:

Buyers will receive a full refund of their original purchase.

💰 Payment Release

Seller payments are released 2 days after delivery—once the item has been confirmed received and no return request has been made.
This 2-day period also serves as the buyer’s return window if the item is not as described.

Refund Processing

If a refund is issued, processing time may vary based on the buyer’s bank or payment method.

 

How do I cancel a transaction?

Order Cancellation Policy

As a buyer, you may request to cancel your order at any time before it ships. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit your ‘My Purchases’ page.

  2. Click on ‘Cancel Request’ to initiate the cancellation process.

Please Note:

  • If you do not see the option to cancel, this means your order has already shipped, and unfortunately, the transaction cannot be canceled.

  • The seller may have already packaged and begun shipping the item, which may make cancellation impossible once the shipping process has started.

If Your Cancellation Request is Not Accepted:

  • If your cancellation request is denied, SwagDeel can help by allowing you to relist the item with no selling fees.

  • To relist, please contact SwagDeel customer support at support@swagdeel.com within 48 hours of your completed transaction.

Orders Can Be Canceled Under the Following Condition:

  • If the seller fails to ship the item within 7 business days, you are eligible for a full refund. In this case, please contact SwagDeel customer support at support@swagdeel.com for assistance.

What's the return policy?

SwagDeel Return & Refund Policy

At SwagDeel, all sales are final, unless the item arrives damaged, does not match the listing, or is never shipped. In these cases, SwagDeel guarantees a free return and full refund.  Minor cosmetic flaws – such as light scratches or dents that don’t affect the item’s functionality – are not usually valid reasons for a return or refund.

Returns or Refunds Will Not Be Granted For:

  • Wear, stains, or other flaws that were clearly mentioned or pictured in the listing.

  • Items that do not fit or have an odor.

  • A buyer’s change of mind.

  • Return requests not made within 2 days of receiving the item.

  • Transactions conducted offline.

Buyer Responsibilities:

  • Buyers should carefully read the listing description, review all photos, and ask the seller questions if needed.

  • If the item is visibly damaged during transit, we recommend refusing the package to help secure a refund.

Return Process:

  1. If you believe the item is eligible for return, you must submit a return request within 2 days of receiving the item.

  2. SwagDeel’s support team will review the request and confirm whether the item meets the return criteria.

  3. If the return is approved, a free shipping label will be provided.

  4. The buyer must ship the item back within 2 days of receiving the label; otherwise, the return request will be canceled.

  5. Once the seller confirms receipt of the returned item, the buyer will be refunded the purchase price and original shipping cost.

What Happens if the Return is Denied:

If your return request is denied, you have 48 hours to contact SwagDeel customer support. We may assist by allowing you to relist the item with no seller fees.
